The problem with this site, however, is that you can easily get overwhelmed by all of the information. I use this site to get an OVERVIEW of ways to save money.

For airfare and lodging, you’re a LOT better off going through a reservations database rather than piecing together flight times and prices for yourself. The reason is because these databases are huge, and they get regular price updates.
You can use the standard ones that advertise nationally. However, their prices are often padded with the agency’s own markup above the commission they get from the vendors. Do you want to pay for that extra padding? Also, often they will simply not include certain air, tour or lodging vendors because they can get more money from other vendors. Meanwhile, YOU lose out on the good prices of those excluded vendors!
There is one database, however, that doesn’t do padding and special pricing asnd exclusions favoring the agency and not you, the buyer. Check out World Ventures. Their database is huge, mammoth really, and their price updates are within minutes, so you can be sure to get the truly most current price discounts. And they don’t exclude vendors, so you’ll be sure to get the best price choices.

There are hotels near Disneyland that offer Disney hotel discounts or Disney hotel deals. Sometimes, you’ll even find Disneyland hotel and ticket packages, but with these you’ll have to be careful that you aren’t paying for more services than what you’ll actually be using.
Some people search the internet for cheap Disney hotels, or Disneyworld hotels, or Disneyland hotel, but there are no such things. They type in Disneyland hotels, Disney resort hotels, cheap Disneyland hotel and Disney World hotel, but neither does Disneyland nor Disney World own hotels.
There are hotels near Disneyland and Walt Disney World, however, so you’d get better search results if you type in hotels anaheim, coast anaheim hotel, anaheim hotel, hotels around Disneyland, hotel near Disneyland and Disneyland hotel deals.
Type in any of these phrases and you’ll get good results.
Disney World ticket prices are affected by peak season and off season traffic. Disney park tickets are sold just about everywhere, meaning travel agencies and web sites online, but if you want to find the best prices yourself, search online with the words: disney theme park tickets.
Don’t jump at the first Disneyland vacation specials you come across. Disney world package vacations can be ok, but quite often they do not save you money. Disney vacation specials are offered throughout the year, and are sometimes used as a loss-leader to get you to buy pricier items. Do your homework.
Disney vacation deals can be found, but you’ll find them easier if you just “breeze” through a bunch of websites, just noting the highlights of each package. Try to resist getting “fish-hooked” by the enticing wording. Keep your eyes focused on what you’re getting for your money, AND, are you actually going to be using all of what you’ll be buying in a package?
